| Compounding refers to adding additional stats to equipment. Compounding requires a preset amount of an item that can be used for the stat you would like to add. The equipment you want to add the stats to also needs to have one or more slots open, and must accept that kind of stat compounds. After the compounding, the slot will be used. When compounding, remember that each compounding item has its own stat range. The formula for compounding is currently unknown, but most believe it is based slightly on the stat LK or DA; however, most would agree it is rather random, based off of real luck. |
How to Compound
Compounding service is provided by Alchemist Nate, who is currently located in in Paradise Shop, Aquarius, and Carbigal Shop. Upon entering the compound window, you can insert the desired equipment, and the item you would like to compound into it. Nate does charge a fee (generally 5x the value of the equipment, but MyShop equipments are free of charge), so make sure you check the price at the bottom left corner for the Galder cost.
MyShop Uses
There are items available in MyShop for compounding: Magic Stones (to add basic stats), Capsules (to add elemental attribute stats), Compound Elixirs (to increase an item's maximum or minimum stat range), and Nate's Bottles (to remove an item from a slot, which will allow a new compound to be added).
